Found list on another site of Cobras participating in the race. I recognize Dr. Ernie's name but who were the other Americans? I'd like to hear from anyone who shot digital images at the event...maybe I can make a painting from your photo... The Brundle/Shepherd Cobra did not have a good event. Driven by Brundle when the following happened. http://www.flickr.com/photos/osbods/sets/72157631549990214/?share=mail
Thats a good argument for towing cars that have broken far off the course ASAP Seems to be plenty room on either side of the red Cobra, but maybe he was spinning when he went off. At LeMans in the old days they would leave broken cars right alongside the track where it was easy to hit them in the dark and in the rain Too bad about the green Cobra with silver hardtop, as I remember that car at a SAAC convention in California--the guy brought it a long way to race so is obviously an ultra enthusiast.
