I just got a new cell phone (finally caved and got one of those I-Phones) and was going to try to connect it wirelessly (bluetooth?) to my '08 GT500. It has the Nav unit and a button that says "Phone". When I push the phone button it just beeps at me. I went to my local Ford dealership and they were of no help...they just shrugged their shoulders, scratched their heads and said try Car Toys. So I went to Car Toys and stumped their Tech. He said that there are probably some Ford parts/components that I need to locate and said that he was sorry, but there was nothing he could do. At this point I don't know what to do or if there is anything I can do?????

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
    Thanks - Dan

If you don't have the user guide for the NAV unit that came with the car when new you can download it here: http://www.motorcraftservice.com/pubs/content/~WO8MUS/~MUS~LEN/42/08pnosn3e.pdf

After the file loads click on "SYNC phone features", then click on "QUICK START - HOW TO GET GOING". You will find instructions on how to pair your phone there.

You can also find instructions here as well as a phone compatibility list, software updates, further support, and answers to any further questions you may have here: http://syncsupport.ford.com/servlet/technology/guide-to-sync
