GT350 #0001 sold at auction $6000

    Well,...it was a few years ago. lol
    Reading the article posted elsewhere about the first convertible 68 gT350 reminded me of this1968 GT350 fastback serial # 0001(I might be off with the zeros,anyway it was #1 serial # )with the original bronze or gold paint job. It was at the Warm springs Auction (near San Jose ca.)back in about 78-80 . I believe it sold for 6K.
    For some reason I quit bidding at around $5000 I think I was cash poor at time.
    Anyone around that remembers it? Wonder where it is now? value?

    Just happened to be browsing,and I saw your post on 68 GT350 #1. I am not sure of the dates, but some friends of mine, here in Oregon used to own that car. They may have owned it in California before moving here, but I am not sure. They currently live about an hour from me, and we do not cross paths too often. Their names are Eugene and Denise Hogan. They currently own 2 1970 GT500's.
