Have a '68 500 FB some 14 years now. The tire I use for the spare, the PO said it was one of the originals....don't know.

The raised white letter "Good Year", made in USA, E70-15, max load 1400 lbs @ 32 PSI max press. DOT Speedway meets RMA-1& SAE J918B & V-1.

Rear side Good Year black lettering Speedway E70-15 4-ply rating made in USA meets RMA-1 & SAE J918B & V-1 LTO5B65 350 tubeless nylon cord.

In the middle of the steel wheel (wheel cover side) #K2-8 FOMOCO.

The other 4 tires and wheels look the same...there is no #'s on the tires or the wheels. The white Good Year lettering is the same as the spare, except under the white lettering it's made in Argentina.

The tread on both USA & Argentina tires are exactly the same.

    Anyone have any info?

    Thanks. S

The tire in the trunk is dated Jan 68 so if your car is built after that it probably is original to car. The K2 8 is correct formatting for the KH Canada wheels and they started that formatting in Jan 68 so you are 2 for 2. The made in Argentina are the early Speedway repops

+1 . It is funny how the repro tires have been out long enough now that with patina they can be mistaken for originals.
