I was reading some discussion on the internet where some friend of Carroll's said Carroll told him some relative was once governor of Kentucky. I went to Google just now and they said

Isaac Shelby (December 11, 1750 – July 18, 1826) was the first and fifth Governor of the U.S. state of Kentucky and served in the state legislatures of Virginia and ...

Maybe it was his great grandfather (in the quote they said GG so I'm guessing, never heard that terminology). Anyhow anyone know any more of the genalogy (sp?). This other website
    http://emptynestancestry.com/2011/04/20/governor-general-isaac-shelby-of-kentucky/

goes on and on but doesn't mention how the family got to Texas. Am I on the right track?

    selling car--not me?

I do have a couple of 427 Cobra replicas listed on a website
for sale but no '65 Shelby. I doubt with the price rise on the genuine cars
that I would ever come across one for sale--if you want one try that guy in Santa Cruz, vintage racer, can't remember his name something like Campana.

On their bus card is a picture where I can see a '66 Shelby. They may have a '65 or know where to find one. Good hunting!
