Stir away. I'm good with it I know there is Probably some sort of clone taboo but frankly, I just love the look of a 67 Shelby convertible. And I'll take what ever kind of opinion comes my way. I look forward to responses. At the end of the day I'll be a happy camper. I would like to think I made a nice car too. Yeee haw.

If you are going to build a clone, that's an attractive body style. I like the idea of building something like this, as opposed to copying a real car

Clone is not a accurate description if it is not copying a real production car. Since there is no evidence to support the one 67 GT500 convertible being built in anything but 68 prototype trim, your car would be more accurately described as a resto mod . Another popular term is a "Day 2" modification. Bob

Me too, I am not a clone fan. This would not be mistaken for a real Shelby by anyone that knows Shelbys. Looks good so far, keep it up.
