The 800HP 2012 Shelby GT500 SuperSnake was recently debuted at the New York Auto Show. Pumping up the horse power from a standard 750hp to 800hp comes compliments of the optional Kenne Bell supercharger.

    Now,read this:
    Motorauthority

Do you see any difference? 'Cuz I don't.According to my comparison, there is no significant improvement in the car.Neither lookwise, nor performancewise. But yes,the cost is higher than the 2011 model.Either Shelby or the websites are trying to make a fool outta us.800hp was still under the hood in 2011 and still exists,so why are they charging an extra $15k?:grrr: I suspect the 2011 and '12 models are in continuation series like the 2007-2009 ones...:thumbdown

How do you figure $15K? Motor Authority appears to be talking about 'round' numbers, which brings the cost to just over 80K. Automobile is more exact at $82,890, unless you go totally sick on the car and get all the best for $97,079. Visit the Shelby site and they tell you the options for the '11 and '12 are the same.

Tune it back, bro. Nothing suspicious here.

BTW, those black powdercoat wheels are the baddest ever.
