The finish on the blower case in '05-'06 Ford GT

    I don't have the car handy to answer this question--Is the blower case black or aluminum color because in the brochure I have, an '06 b rochure, it shows a side view with the case black when the engine is in the car. Then it shows a separate engine and transaxle shot with the engine out of the car and the case is dull aluminum color. I have a feeling the art director picked up the wrong picture...how much does it cost to take the black paint off and polish it out?

    The picture you are looking at is, most likely, i picture of a pre production car...and probably a mule car using possibly the eaton unit from which was used on the earlier 03 and 04 terminator cobras. I noticed during my time at SAI that the red Ford GT Mule they have in the museum uses this earlier unit.
