I was wondering if anyone out there knows where my old 67 Shelby is now. I would like to contact the owner. I'm not interested in buying it back, I just would like to get a couple of pictures of it. I sold it in 1981 to a guy that took it to Arizona (I am in Washington state). It was a light blue GT 500 with inboard headlights. The main identifying feature was the dash plaque that said the car was originally purchased by a Thor Nelson. It was bought in Seattle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Well, according to the 1997 SAAC registry (most current one) #1516
's last owner was Harlan C Goudy of Tucon AZ who bought it in 1983 with road lights, fuel cell and other racing modifications.
Contact the 67 registrar and see if he would forward a letter for you ( ah, you pay the postage) to the current owners. Seems these cars come in two flavors; ones that are bought and lovingly kept in the family, and others that are flipped often.
