Every few years , when making lists of rare cars that would be on my shopping list if I had the money, I run across the listing of the Bertone Mustang. This was a 2 plus 2 fastback commissioned in the year '65 or '66 by L. Scott Bailey, then publisher of Automobile Quarterly. It was turquoise blue and had hidden headlights and a nose like a Mazda RX-2 (also designed at Bertone). When last heard of it was in a dealership in Monte Carlo. Has anyone seen or heard of it since? I think the styling is not so unique since the Mazda used the front end design but hey it's still a Giugiaro design and built in Italy so it's got some claims to fame...
