when i wash my pony, i use water only... my question is, what is the ultimate wax to be used on such a machine. i live in cent fla, where love bugs are in abundance in may and sept, and need some sort of protection against them.
    thanks

I wash my 63 Galaxie with Meguiar's Gold class car wash, then use Wizards Shine Master and top it off with Meguiar's Gold Class Clear Coat car wax.Always using a microfiber towel.I painted this car 10 years ago and when I am done,it looks like it just came out of the paint booth. My father always used Meguiar's and I tryed them all, going back to Meguiar's. Joel

Meguires makes great products. Have also used Zaino products and liked the results. I really like Zanio tire dressing leaves a matte finish not a glossy look.

Ok on waxing the stripes,as long as they are not painted flat black. Joel
