[Shelbymustang] Small issue with the list

I got the list up last night. Another late night on the computer. So
we are back in business as far as sending emails to the list. But for
some reason, and this is the same Mailman software, it is treating
the list as a private list. It was too late to call my guru last
night when I realized that. So at this moment apparently we cannot
get in to do any changes to your membership settings.

I'm up bright and early Saturday morning. (Had too my wife is out of
town and I am "babysitting" her/our 80 lb 4 year old big baby
Greyhound who gets up with the chickens and makes sure someone gets
up to let him out. Probably woke up my neighbors as well.) I will be
getting this issue resolved today. I don't see on the admin software
where to make that change. What I did a couple of weeks ago did not
cause this situation. Nothing is easy right?

But I am at the helm. ALL My web sites and email went down. Once this
is all taken care of I am going to do some things differently. So my
tech guy says, did you have email on that server? Yeah on every
domain name there including our ShelbyMustang list. Oh he figured I
didn't and that the emails were hosted somewhere else. How long have
I been working with these guys? So when he backed up the files on my
server, he did not do the emails before shutting down and formatting
the entire hard drive. One of the internet's hard lessons. Is that
like having all your eggs in one basket? We will change that once
things settle down and move the Shelby list to a mail server ONLY so
if my web pages ever get attacked again and go down the email won't.
This sucks. Can't those people find a better hobby?
