paint question

Need help to settle a dispute regarding paint on 1969 Shelbys. My restoration shop tells me that all Shelbys were painted enamel on the body but all the fiberglass panels were painted in laquer, then assembled and strips applied etc. What say the experts i think there would be a cost factor and old Henry would say no.

Re: paint question

Oh hell just paint it lol.

Very good question as mine is going in as well when everything else is finished underneath. I suppose we do have an issue with different paint types for both surfaces. Didn't think about that!!!
Glad you brought that up!

Cheers
Randall
