new car questions

Hello to all , I hope you are all having a great fourth of July. I had the fortunate opportunity to buy a car today (66 K code fastback) which a local guy had . He had offered to sell it to me last year but backed out at the last minute . I guess most people would have been furious but this guy ordered this car new from his local dealer in 66 and had it ever since. I have the original title financed through Ford Motor Credit for 2750 after deposit. So I nicely said I understood and gave him my number.
Well anyway he was a Ford mechanic for many years so all the maintenance was performed by him including mostly Ford factory parts.. He amateur drag raced the car from 75-80 and returned it almost back to stock in 90 (Torque Thrust wheels,Holley carb and a blow proof bellhousing) .He held a local record at the track (stock class) 12.5 1/4 ET @ 105 mph. This car is pale yellow with black original interior , 54 K original miles , fold down rear seat, non-GT. HiPo car, 4 speed , 389 9" rear. One repaint but the body is mostly original including rechrome bumpers and is in great shape. Unfortunately the block was damaged and replaced but that's about it. I drove it 100 miles today and enjoyed every minute. It still drives like a new car.

Well enough gloating , my questions are :

1.what color should the motor be ? mine is blue and I thought it was suppose to be black .
2. if it had styled chrome wheels , should the spare be the same ?
3. and lastly did a non-GT. car have stripes ? Thanks for any help. Olaf
