I have one of the originals and signed that I picked up quite a few years ago. Didn't pay nearly what it's at now.

It all depends....... If it was done by the original Person/Company, then it would be a Second Printing (just like they do with Books). If it was done by someone elase/different Company, then it would be a Reproduction. Just my $.02
David.

Wait, are we talking about cars or paintings being real or continuations?

Re: Wow....Serious? George Bartell GT350 Poster

I picked up mine a last years, think i paid around 100, guy said it hung in his dad's garage when he was growing up. It came from El Segundo just a few blocks from the LAX facility. Interesting thing it isn't trimmed to the edge, it has a "press proof" appearance with both bleed and trim marks. I guess it could have been snuck out of the print shop during printing.

I meant to say "I picked up mine last year." Sorry for the sloppy work. It was too late for me to edit.

Re: Wow....Serious? George Bartell GT350 Poster

I've noticed several auctions for reprints, the 66 GT350 Poster as well as the Sebring and 1963 Championship Poster. But don't expect these bootlegs to be for sale long. It took us nearly two years and quite a bit of out of pocket to secure our license with Shelby to manufacture apparel, posters and the like using the Shelby American brand. Like you Vern I spend a lot of time online policing for counterfeits.
