King Cobra brochure, painting of Shelby
When Jim Wangers (yes of GTO fame) was making Cobra IIs or King Cobras , a brochure showed Shelby's picture, actually a painting. I failed to buy this collectible piece on ebay so need to know, was the picture accompanied by a quote from Shelby or just telling buyers who Shelby was?
At a certain point Ford took over making the car without bothering to tell Wangers. Maybe that brochure comes from that time period. Anyhow last I heard Jim is alive and well in Vista, CA doing books and still being Mr. GTO...
