#650's at the pick n pull yard in Modesto California right now..
I snagged the front aid dam spoiler.. Thought it would fit my Rampage.. a bit too ride. 2 piece intakes still there.. I took the rail tho for a friend that needed one on turbododge.com..

As pictured in my avatar, the SL prototype with dash plaque # EXP 1. This car was one of three original prototypes. It is the car that is featured in the Shelby Lancer sales brochure (the VIN is readable in an inset photo), and appeared on the cover of the January 26, 1987 Autoweek.

This car was also raced by Neil Hannemann in road racing series against BMW's where it did very well. The sun visor and left strut tower are signed by Carroll Shelby, and the right strut tower is signed by Neil. When Neil brought Carroll to SDAC-7, Carroll was signing autographs in the Great Lakes Chapter tent. I pointed out to Carroll that it was the "auction" car that was sitting behind him. He turned to Neil and said, "Damn Neil, you must have put a thousand miles on that car, racing it." I thought to myself, "Cool it has history as well!"

It is an 86 model year, was sold at the Shelby Garage Sale Auction in 1994, and bought by Mike Stimac in 1995 or 1996 (after passing through a few other auctions). Mike restored the car to driveable condition, and I bought it from him in early 1997.

It currently is in storage minus engine. As it had a catastrophic engine failure while I was driving it stupidly in 1999. I have a new never run Chrysler/Maserati 2.2L 16v engine for it. However I don't really have the funds at this time to complete the project.

Oh, and why is it that the title of this section of the site is called "Dodge Shelby Lancer" Shouldn't it be Shelby Dodge Lancer (if they feel the need to put Dodge somewhere)? Something like this shouldnt be wrong on a Shelby site.
