Re: Latest Pics Rampage project
It appears to be although it is labeled wrong. There is no such thing as a Shelby Rampage. However there was a Direct Connection Rampage produced for the California market at the end of the '84 run. It used the styling cues of the Shelby Charger along with a 5 speed transaxle. There were no upgrades to the engine or suspension.

Re: Latest Pics Rampage project
Thanks for your comments Dennis. I have always tried to be open minded. I grew up in a Chevy family, owned Camaros and such. Tried some Fords and became a diehard Mopar fan about 20 years ago. When the import cars became popular I was happy. I don't care for most and especially riced up without any performance mods, but happy that kids once again were being passionate about fooling with cars. We should all just remember it's about the cars. Fords, Chevys, Mopars, Imports. It doesn't matter as long as it's cool.
What's cool about the Shelby community is that since Mr Shelby worked with all of the big three we have a chance to be the most open and accepting group of car nutz around. |
