I remember that Hot Rod magazine had a showdown between the new 86 GLH-S and a 65 GT350. The GLH-S had better skidpad numbers, was quicker in the 1/4, and beat the Mustang in a road course.
A Charger is only a little bit heavier than a Omni. It should beat a Shelby GT350 also. I am not aware of any comparison against a GT500. I would expect the Charger to have better skidpad numbers and probably would hold its own in a road race. robin
