csx2166 just sold

In a german magazine it says a F1 drive rjust bought
CSX2166 the car that some feel is
the '64 big block leaf spring prototype
But others feel CSX2196 is the prototype so
CSX2166 is just a regular 289 roadster that somewhre along the way was
made into a Daytona coupe but don't get your hopes up,it's not
any lost Daytona, a more recent rebody
My question is: what was the sn of the blue roadster
with three 250GTOair intakes that Miles crashed at Sebring in '64? If this was the car sold in Switzerland it would be a very rare car but
I don't think it was.

I also wonder if this race driver, who made more than a million a week
during his peak years, bought it while under the impression that underneath its coupe
body it is the big block roadster prototype or if he just bought it because he wanted a Daytona and wanted it to be a real Cobra chassis. I coudln't find a price in the story but figure it had to be between $300,000 and $500,000.
I would reprint the story but it's German and when I translate on Babelfish it makes a big mess out of it that Germans will say is not close to real German.But anyone can find the news story by tying into search engine like Yahoo Germany

the '97 registry says it was 2196

the 390 prototype car is not the same as the the GTO nostrils car, the 390 was called the turd and had a aluminum boby and engine. the GTO nostrils car was the first " real 427 race car "

I bought a color picture of Miles driving the car but am puzzled because I read that he crashed it in practice and spent all night rebuilding it and then
turned it over to John Morton tor race but I guess it's possible that Miles took it out to see if his repairs worked the morning of the race before going off to a well needed rest. The car is pretty wrinkled on the right side so it makes me think this was post-crash.
