Shelbys current air fleet?

I heard that Shelby has a jet again though he can't fly it himself due to restrictions on pilots who have had heart transplants.

And I read a few years back he has two
experimental aircraft, the kind powered by small engines that don't have to be licensed that he flys at one of his ranches.

Does anyone know the brands & models of each? Back in the Sixties of course he had a DC-3 which was used to fly parts around and bolster the idea at LAX that his operation was linked to aircraft

He has had a Jet for a long time. It is a Hawker that he bought from Edsel Ford. He has over a dozen other airplanes including Cesnas, Ultralights, and his favorites, the, Howards.

Cleo got a pilot's license a few years ago and regularly flies with Carroll.

I presume the Howards were built by a company founded by Benny Howard --the guy who inspected the first Daytona coupen as it was a'buildin' and thought it wouldn't achieve its goal in terms of speed? Are they single engined or multi-engined? Radial engined? Did Howard make plans after WWII?


I also read somewhere that C. Shelby is a big supporter of the Oshkosh Experimental Air Show, the main show he's attended in the past.

I wonder if he belongs to any ancient and venerable pilot's society, say the aircraft related equivilant of the Grand Prix club that is called something like Society of Grand Prix race drivers (don't know the title but it's in French). That is a very exclusive club indeed...
