SAAC 34, is one planned?

I'm running out of reasons to pay the now $50 so I can log onto a webpage to read everything. I gave up on the conventions a few years ago, and it looks like there is nothing about next year that will cause me to come back and attend them and play on the open track for stupid amounts of money. I guess I'll just go on I-285 around Atlanta where there are less cars than what I drove around Nashville with a few years ago.

Nashville was quite a few years ago...was that the last one you attended?

It is going to be at the BeaveRun MotorSports Complex on August 6-8, 2009 (Thursday - Saturday). I find this wierd because the last News I read was that it was set to be at the NJMP again so they could use the Funds from it to pay for SAAC 33. Which brings up the Question....... was NJMP ever Paid?

Not so "wierd"... last year, plans were announced to propose NJMP as a recurring venue. It met with a lot of push-back from members.

Separate from that, there were unresolved issues over post-event billing between SAAC and NJMP. That is well on the road to resolution, without that rumored "return to pay old debts"... which simple arithmetic proves impractical.

Beaverun is slightly further west and will be a new site for the convention to be held.
