could be ultimate "barn find"

http://forocoches.com/foro/showthread.php?t=548055

this page takes awhile to load as there are 50+ photos. Site is in Spanish, the pictures tell most of the story.

my Spanish is pretty rusty, but here goes:

Somewhere in Portugal 180 cars were found after being locked up for more than 15 years. Maybe someone with better language skills can provide a translation of some of the comments added after the photos.

Re: could be ultimate "barn find"

I saw this 67 GT500 listed online ysterday with 18800 original miles on it. It was recently restored but the guys bought it from an old lady who's number was listed. I think it was the 67 that sold at Barret for only $132k due to modifications. She said it use to be her husbands and she sold it.

Re: could be ultimate "barn find"

Not sure of the story here but you have to think that these could be stolen cars.

Goverment officials in South America literally order Luxury cars by year ad make. Thieves steal them in the U.S. and ship them down on cargo ships all the time. Benzes, Porsche's, BMW's, Lexus, you name it, they are all over mexico city, venezuela etc... Taxis in Jamaica have screw drivers for keys.

If go to Photo #18, the Red Car on the Left looks like either a 49-50 Merc or a Tucker.
