Just so everyone knows, when I initially put this for sale ad up I said i would ship for free to the 48 states. I was just informed that USPS rates are the same to Hawaii and Alaska as well. I assumed they would be substantially more expensive. With that in mind, I am also happy to ship to Hawaii and Alaska! Will also ship internationally but would need to charge for shipping in that case as internationally shipping will be much more expensive. Best regards, Vern

Howdy folks, Here are a few more items which came in the recently acquired collection. These were hand signed by Ol'Shel around the year 2000. I have two varieties of them. The first is a blue 427 Cobra Tin sign, and second is a Series 1 tin sign. Both display extremely nicely and would make a great addition to your man cave or to the wall of your garage! I am not looking to kick people over last dime on these. I am looking to get $105 each for the blue Cobras and $95 each for the Series One as I anticipate the blue Cobra one will be a hotter seller. To give you an idea, this seller on ebay is asking $180 for a sign blue cobra sign, so I feel my price is fair on the signs. My prices also include shipping to you in the US! I have not seen one of the signed series one signs on the market. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carroll-Shelby-Hand-Signed-1966-Cobra-Metal-Sign-Autographed-Blue-GT500-Poster-/111401074394?pt=US_Autographs&hash=item19f0057eda Thanks for giving these a look fellas and please let me know if either of these signs interest you! You can PM me here on the forum or reach out to me via email to reserve your sign! vestes85"at"gmail.com Thanks guys! Vern

Hey Guys, Here are some more general interest items which came out of a large collection I recently purchased. Every one of these photos was hand signed by Ol'Shel around 2000. They are great for display in a case or framing. Every image is very clear and printed on nice photo paper. They are factory photographs and not cheap copies. I am looking to sell the quickly so I am asking 105 (shipping included) for any of the photos in the first picture and 90 (shipping included) for any of the more contemporary signed images in the other pictures below. There are actually two or three of these pictures which I have multiples of. So if you see someone on this thread claim a picture early, please still get in touch as I may have another one. That isnt to say that I have a lot of extras because I think I might have two or three total. If you have any interest in the below photographs, please PM me here on the forum or email me at vestes85"at"gmail.com. Thanks guys! Vern

Hey guys, I just recently purchased a large collection of original Shelby literature and in that collection was a treasure trove of Lane Exact Detail Models, the varieties of which are shown below. I am not a collector of models and I didnt purchase the collection for the models. For that reason, I am looking to get them sold quickly at what I believe to be a very fair price. *The models are still in their original shipping boxes to the retailer and nearly all of them have never been unboxed from their individual box. I would like to get $85 per model which INCLUDES SHIPPING within the 48 states. They retailed for around $120-129.99 brand new and the price of $85 with shipping included seems to be well below what they commonly sell for on the open market. I am not trying to chase every last nickel. I just want to sell the models as quickly as I can. If you have interest, please PM me here on the forum or email me at vestes85(at)gmail.com. Thanks guys! Vern All the models I have are 1966 GT350s consisting of the following types.. 1) 1966 GT350H White/Gold...Original BOX, Brand New, Unopened 2) 1966 GT350H Black/Gold..Original BOX, Brand New, Unopened 3) 1966 Red/White, Factory Supercharged,..Original BOX, Brand New, Unopened 4) 1966 Christi Edelbrock 1966 GT350 Race Car...Original BOX, Brand New, Unopened 5) *1966 GT350 "S" Green/No Stripe...Original BOX, Brand New, Unopened

Hey Guys, I just wanted to put a thread out there that I will be going to Road America and will be looking to purchase as much original Shelby American literature and memorabilia as I can. If you are going and would like to sell anything, I would love to meet up with you and possibly work out a deal. I am interested in purchasing anything from 1962-70, from the most common pieces to the rarest of the rare. I would also consider purchasing one piece or 300 items at one time. In fact, I prefer purchasing entire collections at once. Showroom brochure, showroom banner, keychain, or T shirt: it doesnt matter what it is, I would have interest in it and will pay very good prices for it. Ever since starting my weekly newsletter, I have had to deal with the issue of having to feed the beast that it has become. I have over 330 hungry collectors who snap up nearly everything in sight to the point where it often becomes a struggle to have enough good original items on every email. Being that I have a large network of collectors who I sell to, you might just be surprised the kind of prices I can pay for good original pieces. I do not need to "steal" something from a seller to make a fair profit. The benefits to selling to me.. 1) I can pay higher prices than anyone else and still do ok for myself 2) I pay CASH on the spot. No "half now, half later" BS, checks, or paypal payments. I will bring CABBAGE. 3) I am honest in my dealings. I would never mislead about an item or its authenticity. I am trusted in the hobby, specifically for literature and memorabilia. If you dont know what your item is worth, I will tell you what I am going to sell it for at full retail and I will be honest with you in what I can pay for it. 4) AVOID THE TIME CONSUMING PROCESS OF EBAY 4.1) AVOID eBay fees (collectively around 12.5%) I have the ability to pay you more than you would "net" on eBay. 4.2) AVOID THE HASSLE AND RISK OF SHIPMENT of eBay items 4.3) AVOID THE HASSLE AND RISK OF RECEIVING POOR FEEDBACK ON EBAY If you will be at Road America and would like to discuss selling an item/items please send me a personal message or email me at vestes85(at)gmail.com. Also, if you just want to stop by and see some very cool items, please come see me at the literature and memorabilia night at the host hotel! I will have a few historically significant pieces there which have never been seen by the public and might just BLOW YOUR MIND. Best regards, Vern

Camilo Pardo designed the graphics on Carroll Shelby's Store on Wheels The new rig is set to debut at MCA 50th Mustang Celebration New Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels will debut at the MCA 50th Mustang Celebration in Charlotte Store will offer exclusive merchandise bearing the famous Shelby marque The graphics and wrap were created by Ford GT head designer Camilo Pardo Los Angeles – April 8, 2014 – The new Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels will be among the brightest spots for fans at the official Mustang 50th Birthday Celebration from April 16 – 20, 2014, thanks to a visual treatment by former Ford GT designer and artist Camilo Pardo. Carroll Shelby Licensing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc., (CSBI.PK) will debut their “store on wheels” with authorized items for enthusiasts nationwide beginning at Charlotte Motor Speedway, which is where the celebration is being hosted by the Mustang Club of America. “The hunger for genuine Shelby branded items is extremely strong,” said Neil Cummings, co-CEO of Carroll Shelby International. “Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels is our way of feeding that hunger by bringing world-class Shelby products to enthusiasts at key events across the country. From Charlotte to California, Michigan and Texas, we’ll bring the magic of Shelby to the hometowns of the people who love this brand.” The store will have an incredible breadth and depth of fresh authorized products. From newly designed apparel to memorabilia, special edition “mechanics” shirts exclusive to the store on wheels, an array of stylish hats, legacy items signed by Carroll Shelby and even a line of new women and kids wear, bearing the world famous marque. Most of the stock is unique and not available anywhere else. “We’re unveiling our new trailer at the Charlotte event and will also be offering exclusive merchandise at the Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels program at the MCA’s Las Vegas Motor Speedway location because this event will be the largest showings of Mustang enthusiasts in history,” said Ari Kopmar, executive vice president of Consumer Initiatives for Carroll Shelby International. “In addition to our new Shelby gear, we’re especially excited to unveil the custom trailer created by famous automotive designer and artist, Camilo. He was the chief designer for the Ford GT supercar, possesses a true passion for the sport and had a personal relationship with Carroll Shelby.” Camilo delivered stunning artwork for the trailer walls that feature a classic portrait of Carroll sporting his famous black Stetson hat, a beautiful candy red Shelby Super Snake, a classic white Cobra and more. The designs are based on originals that he created specifically for Shelby. “I’ve always been interested in stretching the boundaries to create something that has never been done,” explains Camilo. “My goal for this project was to design graphics for the mobile store that convey the passion and unique heritage of Shelby. The Shelby name stands for unmatched performance, so we created a design that is as iconic as the man, the company and its cars.” Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels encourages those attending the Charlotte 50th Mustang Celebration to visit and express their opinion of the Camilo design. They can enter their name into a kiosk for a drawing to win a personalized Shelby Varsity Jacket. The mobile store will also give any children one of two free temporary Shelby snake tattoos. Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels will appear at various events throughout the year. For information about its stop, visit the Carroll Shelby’s Store website and register to receive news updates. They made some that we're OEM and others that were aftermarket. I would guess that these were aftermarket but cannot say for sure.
