Camilo Pardo designed the graphics on Carroll Shelby's Store on Wheels The new rig is set to debut at MCA 50th Mustang Celebration New Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels will debut at the MCA 50th Mustang Celebration in Charlotte Store will offer exclusive merchandise bearing the famous Shelby marque The graphics and wrap were created by Ford GT head designer Camilo Pardo Los Angeles – April 8, 2014 – The new Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels will be among the brightest spots for fans at the official Mustang 50th Birthday Celebration from April 16 – 20, 2014, thanks to a visual treatment by former Ford GT designer and artist Camilo Pardo. Carroll Shelby Licensing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc., (CSBI.PK) will debut their “store on wheels” with authorized items for enthusiasts nationwide beginning at Charlotte Motor Speedway, which is where the celebration is being hosted by the Mustang Club of America. “The hunger for genuine Shelby branded items is extremely strong,” said Neil Cummings, co-CEO of Carroll Shelby International. “Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels is our way of feeding that hunger by bringing world-class Shelby products to enthusiasts at key events across the country. From Charlotte to California, Michigan and Texas, we’ll bring the magic of Shelby to the hometowns of the people who love this brand.” The store will have an incredible breadth and depth of fresh authorized products. From newly designed apparel to memorabilia, special edition “mechanics” shirts exclusive to the store on wheels, an array of stylish hats, legacy items signed by Carroll Shelby and even a line of new women and kids wear, bearing the world famous marque. Most of the stock is unique and not available anywhere else. “We’re unveiling our new trailer at the Charlotte event and will also be offering exclusive merchandise at the Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels program at the MCA’s Las Vegas Motor Speedway location because this event will be the largest showings of Mustang enthusiasts in history,” said Ari Kopmar, executive vice president of Consumer Initiatives for Carroll Shelby International. “In addition to our new Shelby gear, we’re especially excited to unveil the custom trailer created by famous automotive designer and artist, Camilo. He was the chief designer for the Ford GT supercar, possesses a true passion for the sport and had a personal relationship with Carroll Shelby.” Camilo delivered stunning artwork for the trailer walls that feature a classic portrait of Carroll sporting his famous black Stetson hat, a beautiful candy red Shelby Super Snake, a classic white Cobra and more. The designs are based on originals that he created specifically for Shelby. “I’ve always been interested in stretching the boundaries to create something that has never been done,” explains Camilo. “My goal for this project was to design graphics for the mobile store that convey the passion and unique heritage of Shelby. The Shelby name stands for unmatched performance, so we created a design that is as iconic as the man, the company and its cars.” Carroll Shelby’s Store on Wheels encourages those attending the Charlotte 50th Mustang Celebration to visit and express their opinion of the Camilo design. They can enter their name into a kiosk for a drawing to win a personalized Shelby Varsity Jacket. The mobile store will also give any children one of two free temporary Shelby snake tattoos. Shelby American to Host 2014 Shelby Vegas Bash at New World Headquarters Shelby Vegas Bash April 14 – 16, 2014 Las Vegas, Nev. – March 6, 2014 – Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK), and Team Shelby will host the 2014 Shelby Vegas Bash at the new Shelby American World Headquarters just off the Strip. Festivities start on Monday, April 14, and run into the Mustang Club of America (MCA) 50th Birthday Celebration beginning on Thursday, April 17. This year’s Vegas Bash includes a Shelby Cruise from Palm Springs to Vegas, Monday night’s “Cars Under the Stars” event at the new facility, a Poker Run, exclusive tours, a Shelby GTS giveaway and more. “With the Shelby Vegas Bash leading right into the MCA 50th Birthday Celebration, we’re expecting this year to be bigger and better than ever,” said Joe Conway, CEO of Shelby American. “This will be the first opportunity to host Shelby members and enthusiasts at our new world headquarters in the heart of Las Vegas. This year’s Vegas Bash and MCA 50th Celebration will be one for the record books.” The Pacific Coast Team Shelby Region will kick off festivities on April 13 with a 300-mile Shelby Run out of Palm Springs, ending in Las Vegas on April 14, just in time for “Cars Under the Stars” at the new Shelby American World Headquarters. The meet and greet will include live music, a cash bar, great food and hundreds of Shelby cars on display. The next morning, participants will meet at South Point Hotel and caravan to tour a revered private auto collection that features rare and important Shelbys, old and new. After the tour, the group will embark on a spirited drive during the popular 150-mile Poker Run through the Valley of Fire. That night, in celebration of the new location and official grand opening of the Shelby Heritage Center, Shelby American will host a dinner for all participants. Wednesday, April 16, is the final day of the Shelby Vegas Bash and includes breakfast, a Shelby American car show and awards ceremony at the headquarters. That afternoon will be the calm before the storm, as hundreds of Mustang and Shelby cars will pour into Las Vegas Wednesday evening. All MCA 50th Birthday Celebration festivities run from April 17 – 20, and require separate registration with MCA, which is highly recommended. “Shelby American will be fully participating in all MCA 50th Celebration activities, including my personal favorite, open track time at Las Vegas Motor Speedway,” said Gary Patterson, VP of sales and factory driver for Shelby American. “Like in years past, our factory drivers will be happy to show enthusiasts on the track how to enter turns, hit the apex and give as many pointers as possible. There’s nothing like seeing a fellow gear head’s face light up when they realize how much more confident they are in their own car at high speeds.” For more info and to register for the Vegas Bash, check out the Shelby American website or click here. SHELBY COBRA DAYTONA COUPE BECOMES FIRST CAR IN NEW CONGRESSIONAL HISTORIC VEHICLE REGISTRY • Shelby prototype (CSX2287) becomes first auto in Sec. of Interior's Heritage Documentation Registry • The car was designed and developed by the famed Shelby American team in 1964 • Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupes helped USA capture first and only FIA world championship Los Angeles – Feb. 12, 2014 – The prototype Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe (CSX2287) designed and developed by Carroll Shelby’s racing team, Shelby American, in 1964 is the first automobile recorded under the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Heritage Documentation. The Historical Vehicle Association announced that honor recently, unveiling the car in its “survivor” state at a press conference in Washington DC. “We’re honored that a Shelby car is the first vehicle to attain the same status as American icons like the Golden Gate Bridge, the spacecraft ‘Enterprise’ and Mount Vernon,” said Neil Cummings, Co-Trustee for the Carroll Hall Shelby Trust and Co-CEO of Carroll Shelby International. “This Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe represents the hopes, dreams and monumental effort of a group of hot rodders who changed the way the world perceived American cars. Conceived by Carroll Shelby and created by his team, it captured the public’s hearts when it captured the world championship.” Carroll Shelby International has been cooperating with the HVA to help chronicle this incredible story. Its division, Carroll Shelby Licensing donated images and offered HVA access to materials. According to HVA, this documentation will be part of its National Historic Vehicle Register permanently archived in the Library of Congress. HVA and U.S. Department of the Interior collaborated on the effort and plan to document other historically significant automobiles. CSX2287 was built during 1964 by Shelby American, Inc. in Los Angeles as the first of six Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupes for competition in world sports car racing. It was an attempt to improve upon the tops that were placed on the Shelby Cobra roadsters for competition on high speed tracks in Europe like Le Mans. “One of the most important aspects to the National Historic Vehicle Register is the emphasis on creating an accurate record,” said Joe Conway, Co-Trustee for the Carroll Hall Shelby Trust and Co-CEO of Carroll Shelby International. “So much lore surrounds this particular car. Early on, Shelby American tried to combat aerodynamic issues using a removable hardtop on the Cobra roadsters. Always looking for an edge, Carroll asked Peter Brock to sketch a new, better body that could be adapted to the existing chassis. Then he assigned his most important development engineer, Ken Miles, to the project. Even though many were skeptical that it would be successful, Carroll continued to finance and support development of the Cobra Daytona Coupe by his team.” That tenacity on the part of Shelby paid off in spades. The Daytona Coupe enabled the Shelby American Cobra race team to dominate and win the International Manufacturer's GT Championship in 1965. It was the first time an American manufacturer won an international race series. That success, as well as the popularity of the Cobra roadster has often led people to copy and claim rights to the designs. The Carroll Hall Shelby Trust owns incontestable design rights to the Shelby Cobra "Daytona" Coupe pursuant to U.S. Patent & Trademark Office Registration No. 2,958,927, and to the Shelby Cobra 289 FIA pursuant to U.S. Patent & Trademark Office Registration No. 3,490,853. “Everyone appreciates the efforts of Peter Brock, who originated the concept of placing a hardtop on the existing Shelby Cobra roadster for aerodynamic purposes, as well as all the other employees of Shelby American who turned Carroll’s dream of building a faster version of the car for international racing” said Cummings. “With budgets being so tight, it was Carroll’s willingness to gamble on design, as well as the numerous revisions like the tail spoiler that made the car so successful. It was a total team effort.” HVA chose CSX2287 to be the first car in this groundbreaking program because it is among the most historically significant automobiles in America based on its association with important persons and events; its construction and aerodynamic design; and informational value as one of the few racecars from the period that has not been completely restored. The Shelby is part of the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia. “Dr. Simeone was very gracious to allow the car to be photographed, inspected and displayed for this initiative,” said Conway. “We appreciate his patience, as well as the persistence of the HVA to properly chronicle the Shelby. Our goal is to contribute the texture and archival documentation necessary to help them complete their story accurately.” About Carroll Shelby Licensing Auto manufacturer and entrepreneur Carroll Shelby is one of the most famous and successful high performance visionaries in the world. Hey Guys, Over the last year and a half I have been putting out weekly emails with some of the best original Shelby American related literature and memorabilia available on the market today. I decided to start doing this because, frankly, eBay sellers fees have gotten pretty high and I was tired of loading up the forum with for sale ads which I thought were a bit disctacting to other discourse here on the forum. So far, the email has been a great success and, somehow, I have managed to find and buy enough of this stuff to continue to feed the beast which this thing has become. I also still personally collect Sheby American related piece and, every now and then, I will even list something out of my collection! I just wanted to jump on the forum today to see if anyone else was interested in subscribing to the email. This last week I put out my 61st email and there are currently 276 subscribers to the email. If you love orignal Shelby American stuff and you are not on this list, you are behind the curve. The emails generally go out once a week at 9pm Eastern Time on Sunday nights. However, if I dont feel like I have enough to offer during a certain week or I am otherwise busy, sometimes the emails do not go out. The emails operate on a first come first serve basis so the first person to respond to the email saying they want a certain item gets it. Please note that these are not spam and your contact information is not shared with any third parties. This weekly newsletter of sorts is the best way on the internet to get premium, original Shelby American/Ford related literature and memorabilia and the items offered on the email are generally not offered anywhere else. Below are just a few pictures of items which are typical offered through these emails. I sell everything from more common showroom brochures and owners manuals, to high end and rare posters, to 1 of 1 pieces. Anyway, I'm all through blowing off about the email. I just wanted to see if I could get on here and gain a few more subscribers Chug a Lug Please find the link to the sign up sheet below. You do not need to include your first or last name if you do not wish to. All the system needs is your email and, once again, it will not be shared with anyone! http://eepurl.com/nb1sr Best regards, Vern

First Retail Unit 2015 Ford Mustang GT Fastback Sells for $300,000 at Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale • The first retail unit 2015 Ford Mustang GT Fastback sold for $300,000 with proceeds benefiting JDRF, the leading diabetes research organization • With this sale, Ford has increased its JDRF charity car vehicle sales to more than $3.5 million • The winning bidder will personalize their new car with available 2015 Mustang GT options • Shelby GT500-inspired, 1956 Ford F-100 pulled in $450,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan in Canada. KISS bassist and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Gene Simmons, his wife and Canadian-born actress, Shannon Tweed-Simmons, attended spurring on the auction crowd SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 20, 2014 – At Barrett-Jackson Auction Company’s sale in Scottsdale, Ariz., a car collector and North Texas Ford dealer, Sam Pack, paid $300,000 to have the first retail production unit of the all-new 2015 Mustang GT when it goes on sale this fall. This purchase helped Ford Motor Company increase its charity vehicle sales to more than $3.5 million for JDRF, the leading diabetes research organization and a Ford partner since 1983. Also at the auction, a Shelby GT500-inspired 1956 Ford F-100 sold for an impressive $450,000, bought by Gordie Broda of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Wheels of Dreams Project was created to raise funding for the new Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan in Canada. Since it debuted in April 1964, Mustang has always been “the car designed to be designed by you,” and the winning bidder, has that same opportunity for his new car. Pack will choose either a manual or automatic transmission as well as any interior and exterior color combination offered on the 2015 Ford Mustang GT. Furthermore, the team involved in Mustang design and development will sign the car in appreciation of the donation to JDRF. “The response to the all-new Mustang GT on the auction block was remarkable,” says Raj Nair, group vice president - global product development at Ford Motor Company. “People were drawn to the opportunity to own this historic car, while also knowing the funds would benefit JDRF. We're pleased to continue this collaboration in the fight to cure type 1 diabetes.” Powered by the throaty V8, the Mustang GT features upgrades that yield more than 420 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. Under the sleek new skin, Mustang features all-new front and rear independent suspension systems to help transfer power to the pavement with world-class handling, more precise steering control and enhanced ride comfort. Innovative technologies also provide enhanced information, control and connectivity when drivers want it, including launch control that enables smooth and consistent starts when desired. "We are thrilled with the result of the auction,” says John Brady, incoming JDRF chairman. “The enthusiasm and generosity of Ford Motor Company and Barrett-Jackson Auction Company is appreciated by the JDRF family and all those living with type 1 diabetes. The $300,000 raised tonight will get us closer to a world without type 1 diabetes." The future Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan received a large donation through the sale of the 1956 Ford F-100 or “Snakebit,” as the truck is known. It is a blend of street rod styling with influences from the iconic Ford Shelby GT500. It boasts a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 breathing through a high-performance exhaust system. A six-speed manual gearbox feeds the estimated 550 horsepower to the 20-inch rear wheels. The sale was made possible through the Wheels of Dreams Project, which is a unique collaboration involving KISS bassist and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Gene Simmons, his wife and Saskatoon-born actress, Shannon Tweed-Simmons, along with area businesses including the local Saskatchewan Ford dealer association. Though the fundraising campaign to build the hospital started several years ago, the group collectively wanted to do their part to achieve the 2016 construction completion goal. The two celebrities joined the truck on stage for the charity sale. “We are elated with the response to this one-of-a-kind truck,” says Vaughn Wyant, co-chair of Wheels of Dreams and president and CEO of Vaughn Wyant Automotive Group. “The volunteers involved in this project traveled an amazing road to get here, and it was thrilling to finally reach the moment where Gene and Shannon were spurring on the auction crowd to support the future children’s hospital. What an incredible moment.” "We continue to be astounded by the ongoing generosity of the Saskatchewan community and those beyond our borders who are making the Children's Hospital of Saskatchewan a reality," says Brynn Boback-Lane, president and CEO of the Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. “Special thanks go to Ford Canada, the Ford Dealers Association of Saskatchewan and those at home in Saskatchewan who created and built this truck with the generosity of funding, commitment of time and sharing of their talents ensuring this project is world-class. These are the heroes in helping to build Saskatchewan's new children's hospital. Our Foundation is grateful for their efforts. We simply could not have done this without them, as this is a true testament to what Saskatchewan people can do when working together." About JDRF JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D. As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF is currently sponsoring $530 million in scientific research in 17 countries. For more information, please visit www.jdrf.org. The Wheels of Dreams Project – created to develop the truck – is a unique collaboration involving KISS bassist and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Gene Simmons, his wife and actress Shannon Tweed-Simmons, along with area businesses including the local Saskatchewan Ford dealer association. What began as a team building exercise for Industrial Machine & Manufacturing in Saskatoon, Canada, has become an international symbol for helping children. The sale of this one-off truck will aid in the development of a new hospital dedicated to healing them. “We’re honored to play a role in this unique project,” said Vaughn Wyant, co-chair of Wheels of Dreams and president and CEO of Vaughn Wyant Automotive Group. “The new children’s hospital will fill a critical healthcare void in our community, and our Ford Dealer Association is working hand-in-hand with other local businesses and the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan to make it a reality. It’s gratifying to see this grassroots movement take on an international focus.” “Snakebit,” as the truck is known, is a blend of street rod styling with influences from the iconic Ford Shelby GT500. It boasts a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 breathing through a high-performance exhaust system. A six-speed manual gearbox feeds the estimated 550 horsepower to the 20-inch rear wheels. The wheelbase was extended five inches, while the box was widened and dressed with a billet machined floor to simulate wood-grain. It is topped with a custom tonneau cover while the headlights and sequential taillights are custom-built. The handmade panels and two-tone leather in the interior are eye-catching and the knobs on the leather-wrapped dash are custom-made, as are the armrests. Furthermore, the leather bench seat is designed playing homage to the Shelby GT500. The project inspired Simmons and Saskatoon-native, Tweed-Simmons, as well as Saskatchewan’s Ford Dealer Association to join the effort. Saskatchewan is one of only two provinces in Canada without a dedicated children’s hospital. Though the fundraising campaign to build the hospital started several years ago, the group collectively wanted to do their part to achieve the 2016 construction completion goal. “Saskatchewan’s Ford Dealer Association eagerly provided funding for this very specialized build,” said Dianne C. Craig, president and CEO, Ford of Canada. “We’re grateful for their commitment to make a meaningful difference in our community.” For auction information, visit the Barrett-Jackson website or Facebook. The company was founded by avid automobile collector Bill DenBeste, who developed a personal friendship with Carroll Shelby. Their bond led to a dealership arrangement, a Shelby certified engine building company and DenBeste’s partnership in the Biagi-DenBeste Racing team, which fields the #98 car in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. “Carroll knew that I truly loved his cars,” said DenBeste. “He encouraged me to found DenBeste Motorsports to give others an opportunity to also enjoy the ownership experience. As part of Shelby Row, we hope to reach as many people as possible who want to learn about Cobras, and how they also can become a part of this unique, special family of Shelby owners.” Another leading dealer who will be part of the Shelby Row is Superformance USA. “During the 50th anniversary of the Daytona Coupe, we’ll display the Shelby CSX9000 Daytona Coupe continuation car at Shelby Row,” said Lance Stander, president of Superformance USA. “We plan to exhibit our Carroll Shelby signature edition GT40, as well as various Shelby Cobra vehicles. It will be a ‘performance paradise’ for enthusiasts.” The new Carroll Shelby’s Store will offer a wide array of Shelby products available exclusively at Shelby’s store, including apparel, memorabilia, limited edition prints and legacy items signed by the man himself, Carroll Shelby. Every item has passed the highest standards to bear the world famous Shelby marque. “When we explored the concept of an official Carroll Shelby’s Store in Southern California, our licensees welcomed the idea of having a permanent home in the area,” said Tracey Smith, president of Carroll Shelby Licensing. “Bringing a sample of that store to Collector Car Week in Arizona will connect these key partners with even more people who love their products. It is a wonderful way for everyone to have an opportunity to celebrate the Shelby lifestyle.” The Shelby name has long been an important part of the collector car scene in Scottsdale. From record setting car sales to vehicle launches and appearances by Carroll Shelby, the marque is considered “blue chip” among collectors. “Carroll Shelby was a larger-than-life individual who gave the world amazing cars, products and experiences,” said Steve Davis, president of the Barrett-Jackson Auction Company. “The companies associated with his name continue to deliver on that promise. Shelby Row is a perfect fit for Barrett-Jackson, which produces the World’s Greatest Collector Car auctions. We’re proud to host the largest Shelby exhibit in the history of our Scottsdale event.” Shelby Row will be on the midway near the auction staging lanes at the Westworld facility throughout the week. CARROLL SHELBY FOUNDATION’S NATIONAL TOY DRIVE AND FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS GARDENA, Calif. – Jan. 6, 2014 – The Carroll Shelby Foundation executed a successful holiday philanthropy campaign to benefit kids nationwide with a combination of local grassroots events and a fundraiser centered on a collectible Shelby Christmas tree ornament. Established by legendary automotive icon and philanthropist Carroll Shelby, the Carroll Shelby Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides medical and educational support for children from their first heartbeat through their college years. The holiday philanthropy program designed by CSF benefitted many children with different needs. Among the program initiatives, the Foundation supported car clubs with their own charity drives to collect toys and raise funds in their communities for donation to a charity or children’s hospital. In addition, CSF sold so many first annual limited edition Shelby tree ornaments bearing the legendary “snake” logo, they were able to donate over $7,500 to the Eli Home for children (www.elihome.org), which exceeded expectations by 50 percent. “This year’s holiday campaign was a collaborative effort that would not have been possible without the outpouring of participation, support and contributions received from Shelby fans worldwide,” said Neil Cummings, CSF board member. “We felt a new spirit of cooperation this year which invigorated everyone at the Foundation. As we continue to grow and evolve, we’ll continue offering new ways for people to join our fight for the kids.” Mike and Lorri Galloway established the Eli Home in 1983. Family, friends and volunteers rallied to their cause and helped open the first shelter for abused children and their mothers only 18 months later. Today, the Eli Home is a multi-faceted faith-based organization with three shelter facilities, a 13,000 square foot thrift store social enterprise, corporate offices, professional counseling and therapy staff, organizational staff, dedicated volunteers and board members. Its history of awards and accolades include citations from U.S. Presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton. “The incredible participation of car clubs collecting toys for children in need this year was tremendous,” said Jenni Shreeves, executive director of the Carroll Shelby Foundation. “In addition, orders for the Shelby tree ornament came in such high volume that we were able to make a substantial donation to Eli Home. Because of the success of this year’s holiday program, we plan to seek out more organizations to partner with in supporting worthy causes in 2014.” To learn more about the Foundation, make a donation or order an item with the exclusive commemorative signature, go to www.carrollshelbyfoundation.org. About The Carroll Shelby Foundation The Carroll Shelby Foundation was created by legendary racer and automotive manufacturer Carroll Shelby. CARROLL SHELBY’S STORE UNVEILS LIMITED EDITION SHIRT PROGRAM TO BENEFIT NEW SHELBY AUTOMOTIVE MUSEUM Shelby 427 S/C Cobra “Aloha” Shirt First in Series Honoring the Man and his Cars • Carroll Shelby’s Store launches new series of limited edition, numbered aloha shirts • Portion of apparel sales will benefit the new Carroll Shelby Automotive Museum • First aloha shirt celebrates Carroll Shelby on his birthday and features the 427 S/C Cobra GARDENA, Calif. – Jan. 10, 2014 – To posthumously honor Carroll Shelby’s 91st birthday on Jan. 11, Carroll Shelby’s Store today announced a series of collectible “Aloha” style shirts that will help raise money to create the new Shelby Automotive Museum in Southern California. The first limited edition shirt will celebrate Mr. Shelby and his most recognizable car, the 427 S/C Shelby Cobra. The series of shirts will include the big block Shelby Cobra, Ford Shelby GT500, FIA Cobra, Series 1, GT350 and small block ‘street’ Cobra. The first 998 shirts, in honor of the total number of Cobras built in the 1960’s, will come with a numbered certificate of authenticity bearing the exclusive Commemorative Carroll Shelby Signature. The series will only be available through Carroll Shelby’s Store for $150 (plus tax and shipping); $50 of the purchase is a tax deductible donation to the Shelby Automotive Museum. “This stylish apparel series was created to give people a way to enjoy the Shelby lifestyle while also honoring an American hero’s legacy,” said Neil Cummings, trustee for the museum and Carroll Shelby International co-CEO. “Like the museum, the shirts will star Carroll’s profile and the cars built by Shelby American. This is a tribute to the company, the machines and most of all the man who changed the automotive world forever.” Established by Carroll Shelby, the Shelby Automotive Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to educate the public about the auto industry, generally, and more specifically the high performance cars created and built by the many people who poured out their hearts and souls to make great American cars. These cars include the 1965 Shelby Cobra “Daytona” Coupe that won the FIA World Manufacturers’ Championship on the European Circuit in 1965, still to this day the only American company to have ever accomplished such a feat. Beating Enzo Ferrari, and conquering his long domination of this circuit, was one of Carroll Shelby’s dreams, which came true. The Museum will reflect America’s spirit of competition and will exemplify what “good old-fashioned hard work” can accomplish. The Museum will be located at the Shelby facilities in Gardena, Calif., where Mr. Shelby spent much of the past 40 years, including his final years planning the future of the organizations that he founded. “The Shelby brand has stood for quality and performance for over 50 years,” said Cummings. “Shelby’s influence was so strong that even competitors wore clothing featuring his marks in the 60’s. That rich heritage continues with limited edition garments designed and manufactured exclusively for Carroll Shelby’s Store.” About Carroll Shelby’s Store Entrepreneur Carroll Shelby pioneered modern automotive licensing programs. Beginning in the 1960s, he began licensing his name and designs for various products. He founded Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc., which is the exclusive holder of trademarks and vehicle design rights for some of the most famous muscle cars and high-performance vehicles, as well as trademark rights for Shelby-branded apparel, accessories and collectibles. As a platform for authorized products bearing the Shelby marque, Carroll Shelby’s Store was launched during 2013. Sales of many of those products benefit the Carroll Shelby Foundation and the Carroll Shelby Automotive Museum. For more information about the store, call (310) 914-1843, go to 19021 S. Figueroa St., Gardena, CA 90248, or visit carrollshelbystore.com.

CARROLL SHELBY FOUNDATION TO COLLECT TOYS AND FUNDS FOR SO CAL CHILDREN IN NEED AT DECEMBER HOLIDAY EVENT The Carroll Shelby Foundation (CSF) is revving up the spirit of giving this season by hosting a holiday celebration on Saturday, Dec. 14 at its headquarters in Gardena, Calif., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free event will feature an incredible display of cars from Carroll Shelby’s personal collection, a raffle drawing and much more. CSF is encouraging people to bring an unwrapped toy for the Miller Children’s Hospital in Southern California. Also, the limited edition Christmas tree ornament benefitting Eli's House will be available at the event. “Carroll Shelby touched millions of lives through his racing, his companies and most of all, his charity,” said Jenni Shreeves, executive director of the Foundation. “Before passing away last year, he challenged us to continue what he considered his most important work, helping take care of kids." The event will directly benefit two important children-focused causes. The Foundation will offer the first annual limited edition ornament in Shelby blue for $20 at the new Carroll Shelby Store. Sales of the ornament will benefit the Eli Home, which is a shelter for victims of child abuse and neglect. Anyone who brings an unwrapped toy for the Miller Children’s Hospital anytime from Dec. 1 through the day of the event on Dec. 14 will receive $10 off the price of the Shelby tree ornament. Event gates open at 10 a.m. (PST) and there is no charge for admission. For the first time, the public will have the opportunity to feast their eyes on some of the rarest Shelby cars from Carroll's personal collection including the first Cobra, CSX2000. Several So Cal car clubs have already indicated support for the event. "While there may be other toy drives around the country, this will certainly be one of the most unique and engaging," added Shreeves. "From a tour of some of Mr. Shelby's cars to an impromptu car show in the parking lot by some of the local clubs, it will be a great event. Our goal is to help Eli Home through the sale of the Shelby ornament and to bring loads of toys to the Miller Children’s Hospital to raise the spirits of kids spending their holiday season there." The week of December 16, the Foundation will load up several Shelby cars and support vehicles with toys for delivery at the hospital. The public will be invited to join the caravan from the Gardena location to the hospital to deliver the gifts; the time and day will be posted on the Carroll Shelby Foundation website. Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach provides a wide range of primary and specialty care for children of all ages, from newborns to young adults, as well as expectant mothers. The Memorial Care Center for Women at Miller Children's Hospital Long Beach welcomes 5,500 babies into the world each year and it is home to one of the largest neonatal intensive care units in California, treating more high-risk infants daily than any other hospital in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.

Politically correct response. :D They look good...maybe not great, but good. Although, I should probably hold off on any judgement until I buy one. I like the idea of producing these and commend them on their efforts.
