Lord Rootes son?

I read a lot of stuff on the origin of the Tiger. But only about 5% of it mentioned the son of Lord Rootes coming up with the moola to build the more expensive Tiger prototype (as opposed to the cheapie built by Miles).Does anyone know if Lord Rootes' son still walks the earth?
