Hello Everyone! So excited to get back into the hobby and start building CSX7070. If anyone has a finished CSX7000 or 8000 series car who can share photos of assembly details...I would also be glad to help and share assembly knowledge with others!

Congrats. All Cobras are beautiful cars. I love my CSX4005LA but having driven it for about 6 months, I think I'd like to try a 289 car too. I'd be afraid I might not fit in one though.

Do you have some details - color, etc? What power plant are you going to put in it (engine, trans)?

Re: New Member CSX7070

A friend spent many months building #007 Series 8000. He took every part of the roller assembly apart and reassembled it. He did a tight squeeze of a stoker 351W (427ci). He had to use pads on the springs to get the body to sit correctly. He has driven the car to over 30 states and run it both Team Shelby and SAAC track events. It is never trailered. He just went to Tulsa and back from San Francisco. He wil be in Reno at Hot August nights. Look for the black Series 8000 with Hawaii plates. He doesn't check the web too often but I will mention this post to him.
