Just wondering how long some folks have owned their cars? I have owned 66 GT350H 6S1431 for 37 years, paid $1,000 for it and it had 41,000 miles on it, bought it from the 2nd onwer ( Hertz being the first) Drove it accross country several tiems, drove it on the Bonneville salt flats (this is why it rusted so bad.) Working on the restoration and just got of out of the paint shop after 1 1/2 years of waiting. Long time to get it done, hopefully late this fall or early next spring. Also owned 6S1855 (sold it to Bill Collins in 1978 or 9) Turned down Cobra CSX2017 for $3500, because it had no top!!!! Will post pictures sometime soon of the restoration and some of the trips to Calf and back

Re: Long time owner

Just a Dumb Question......... You paid $1,000.00 for that very COOL Car 37 years ago. If you bought just $1,000.00 in Stock instead, Is there a Stock that you could have bought then that would be worth as much as your Car is Worth NOW? Just courious because I still say that buying certian Cars as an Investment (at the right price) is better then buying Stock. Again, very cool Car, what Color is it?
David.

Re: Long time owner

I've owned my 67' GT 350 (#0036) since January of 1971. You are right about the memories. They never fade.
