Another new owner

Greetings everyone. I just purchased my new Shelby GT (07SGT4025) yesterday from Osseo Ford in Osseo, Wi. Since I live in Northern Indiana, I got to drive it about 450 miles home. Had smile on the whole time!!!

This is my 1st Shelby. I owned an 03 Mach 1 for a couple years and was actually looking for another when I stumbled upon the SGT. They offered me a deal I couldn't pass up so I didn't.

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions later and it seems there is quite a bit of expertise here.

by the way, mines a black, 5 speed with IUP and Shaker 1000.

Can't wait for Spring!!!!

Re: Another new owner

Congratulations on your SGT purchase!!!

Are you going to keep it stock or do you have any modifications planned?
(wheels, supercharger, etc.)

Re: Another new owner

I'll probably keep it mechanically stock for now. Probably a few cosmetic mods just to personalize it. I do plan on changing the wheels at some point.

I'm not going to supercharge it. I don't have a need for that much power. I would like to to change the exhaust note though. I had an SLP loudmouth exhaust on the Mach and I really liked the way that sounded.

Mostly, I just intend to drive the wheels off it. I'm not one of the "keep the mileage down" crowd. I just don't plan to drive it in the snow. Too many people out there that don't know what they're doing.

Congrats on your new purchase. I will keep and eye out for you this summer. My wife has family near White Pigeon, Michigan which isn't too far from you.

I drive thru White Pigeon every now and then. I actually live about 20 mile southwest in Goshen, Indiana. I like to head up into Michigan on the back roads and cruise. Maybe I'll see you up there sometime.
