Hello from Canada

As a new member to the forum, I would like to take this opportunity to say hello from Ottawa, ON Canada. Although I do not own a Shelby GT yet, I have been a Shelby fan for many years and a great enthusiast.

I had the opportunity to meet Carroll Shelby and Phil Remington on 1 Dec 2007 at the 11th Annual Shelby American Collection celebration. It was a great moment for me.

The trip to Colorado also provided me with the opportunity to see the original cobras, GT40s and the Shelby GT mustangs in person. It is a great collection of the history of Carroll Shelby, the drivers and the cars. My next goal will be to travel to the Carroll Shelby Museum in Las Vegas.

My thanks go out to the many volunteers that put on the Shelby American event and to those that maintain the collection and donate their own time to ensure that the Shelby historical collection is there for others to see.

I wish all the best to the Shelby owners and enthusiasts during this holiday season.

Welcome to the forum.What a great opportunity to meet Carroll Shelby you had,always wanted to meet him myself but still haven't had the chance.
I just live an hour east of you in Hawkesbury,it's always cool to see new members that live close by.
