Greeting fellow Shelby fans, I'm the new guy
I bought my 67 GT 500 back in 1976. It was just another gas guzzler that no one wanted. It had been stripped of almost all of it's Shelby stuff. I drove it everyday for the next 17 years. I took it apart about 10 years and am now putting it back together!

Welcome to the forums.
I'm glad to see people who have held onto the cars they bought years ago. I wish I still had both of my old GT500's. It sure was nice when you could buy a used Shelby at a decent price. Post some pics of the car when you have a chance.
