Hello Everyone

I just wanted to introduce myself since I was encouraged to do so after registering. I don't own a Shelby but I do have a 68 fastback GT that I bought back in '75 (still have it). The main reason I joined is because my friend has a 68 GT 350 and there seems some controversy about the VIN on his car. This got me curious. From what I've researched there should be a stamped VIN on the right shock tower inside the engine compartment. And (so I'm told) there should be one underneath the Shelby tag (that's riveted on) on the left fender apron. Can anyone clarify for me? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with this.
