Hello, this is Ron Harris. I was at a car show in Pigeon Forge, TN this past weekend and saw a 1993 Shelby Cobra Mustang for sale and because I had no idea that these cars existed I would like some info on them. Therefore I found this website and was hoping to locate some info that would be helpful if I decided to try and purchase one in the future. Any information would be appreciated.

Ron

Re: Info on 1991-1993 Shelby Cobra Mustang?

I don't believe there were any 1993 Shelby Cobra Mustangs. There were 1993 Ford Cobra Mustangs. Most likely it could possibly be a SAAC Mustang. These were made by the Shelby American Automobile Club. They were not made by Shelby, but I'm sure he gave his blessing. They are recognized in the Shelby Registry.

I am not sure but, weren't the SAAC Mustangs 1992 models. Then they stopped when Ford came out with the Cobra in 93.
