I love 500 HP

Hi Shelby Forum,

My new GT500 is in the garage and my wifes BMW is sitting in the driveway, I love it. I'm going to have to make room for her car which means the dragbikes are going into the race trailer. Besides the GT500 (130 miles) I have 2 dragbikes, an 11.50 bracket bike and a 7 second Prostock Harley. In 2006 I was runner-up West Coast and 6th in the nation with the AHDRA (All Harley Dragracing Association) in the Progas Class. I have the need for speed.

I had the chance to meet Carrol Shelby in 70's when I was bartending in South Lake Tahoe. I believe he had a dealership there at that time.

This is my first Shelby and I love it.

By the way, I don't know about the dealership but Carroll did have a tiny cabin in Tahoe up until just recently.

The 70's we a little fuzzy for me. As I think back it have been a shop in South Lake Tahoe. I worked a local's bar called the "Boomarang" on highway 89. It was a wild time at the Lake then.
