Gary Kohs and the burned (slightly) Ford GT

When I lived in Michigan I was idly contacting people at Ford
to see what happened to the Ford GTs they had lying about.
I heard of a burned one but never got to see it but
later on super PR man Gary Kohs did a deal to promote the Mustang
--making a traveling cavalcade of Mustangs--and persuaded them to sell him
a Ford GT 40 Mk. I for one dollar. It turned out only to have a little burn damage on the rear deck.
I was wondering what chassis number that was and what became of it? I think Gary got into
Bugattis later, and also restoring old lighthouses.

I should have pursued it harder but he had the inside track since they needed his PR expertise.

    Wally,

You really should pick up a copy of the latest SAAC registry, as all data you ask is located within.
