Add an upcoming event to the Calendar!

One of the great features of this forum is the ability to add your event to the Calendar. That way people can see what events are coming up through an organized Calendar view!

To view the calendar:
You can view the calendar at any time by clicking the button at the top of every page that says "calendar".

When posting a new event, you must first choose which type of event. There are 3 choices at the lower right of the Calendar page. See picture below:
1) Single, All Day Event
2) Ranged Event (allows you to specify a time for the event and the event can last for more than one day)
3) Recurring Event



When choosing a "Recurring Event" you will be presented with a variety of choices to set how often/when your event occurs. See below:

I just added a new feature to the site so that we can easily create lists of who is going to certain events. For example, SAAC 31 is listed from June 30-July 2, 2006. Go to the calendar and click on the SAAC 31 event. Once there, scroll to the bottom and click...

[I will be attending this event]

That's all you have to do. You will be added to the list.

From now on, this will be an option for every event listed in the calendar. If you wish to include this option when adding an event, please select the check box that says "Allow users to specify that they will be attending this event."
