SCCA Solo II Autocross in Baltimore Area This Saturday?

We have a few of our members that autocross their Shelbys from time to time. We are in Southeastern VA (Norfolk, Va. Beach, etc) and have some excellent sites to autocross. Check out the local autocross forum:

We should probably try to meet somewhere about halfway at an event sometime.

Indeed, I wouldn't mind running at VMP in Petersburg sometime. Alternatively, there are some events at Fed Ex field in DC also...

If you ever get down to the Va. Beach area plan it around one of the events at ACU-4 (usually the 3rd Sunday of each month). That is probably the best autocross site on the east coast.

They are not currently running at VMP. It seems that VMP has secured NHRA sanction for their drag race events, including a NHRA National event, and some reason related to that is keeping them from running there this year. But they are running at Richmond International Raceway instead. It is a pretty good place apparently.

I ran at Fed-Ex a couple of times last year in my RX7, but I didn't take the Shelby up there. We definately need to make arrangements to meet up sometime. I will try to get a couple of the other local Shelby guys to go at the same time.

I did just register for a Fed Ex event on July 29th or 30th (whatever that Sunday is).

If you are considering it, please let me know. Although I'll probably notice another Shelby out there.
