Your car was " owner modified ". FYI the original Ford mfg 427 aluminum blocks from back in the 60's were extremely rare and not engineered well that is why you did not see them in the racing GT40's ,stock cars etc. It wasn't until the recent past that Dove and other aftermarket vendors came up with a recent usable alternative. The new Shelby block is another new to the aftermarket aluminum block.
