Carroll Shelby NEVER built a 427 ALUMINUM engine until 2004 or 2005. If your car was built in 1967 and has not been changed, it is a cast block. That picture is one of his new 427 engines.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but it is not original. Just like mine, a remake. Nice car though!
