My car is an Eleanor first. However, I have more original Shelby authorized parts on my car than the original Shelby's ever had. Which one has a Shelby aluminum 427FE engine? (only one, but it was a ford block, not Shelby, mine is Shelby), Shelby center console, Shelby 200mph gauges, Shelby pedals (clutch, brake and gas), Shelby floor mats, and a Shelby car cover, too. ha ha

I love the authentic Shelby Mustangs. There will be nothing that will ever replace them. If I had one, I would not bastardize it with replacement parts. But while I cherish them, I want more.
I thought quite a few of the GT500 E cars that came out of Unique had 427 Shelby aluminum Fe engines? I am not aware of any vintage Shelby's with a factory 427 aluminum block. The 67 GT500 supersnake had a GT40 light weight engine which was a cast iron block . The major aluminum items were heads ,single four intake, waterpump and balancer. There were 3 GT500's that had the factory lightweight engine including the 67 GT500 supersnake. But there is only one 67 GT500 supersnake. The Cobra that had a aluminum block was a special 390 casting. The best of luck with your registry.
