Re: Help with 1967 GT500 purchase
Many people have different interpretations of what a Shelby Mustang is, and question what is an Eleanor. They are two different animals. The Eleanor is not and does not represent itself as a Shelby.
My car is an Eleanor first. However, I have more original Shelby authorized parts on my car than the original Shelby's ever had. Which one has a Shelby aluminum 427FE engine? (only one, but it was a ford block, not Shelby, mine is Shelby), Shelby center console, Shelby 200mph gauges, Shelby pedals (clutch, brake and gas), Shelby floor mats, and a Shelby car cover, too. ha ha
I love the authentic Shelby Mustangs. There will be nothing that will ever replace them. If I had one, I would not bastardize it with replacement parts. But while I cherish them, I want more.
