Ok as promised here are a few more detail of what the weekend will include.
I am sorry I will announce tomorrow towards the evening the price and the number of tickets that will be available for Purchase.
But here is a ruff outline of what is going to be included in this Shelby Run.
ALL DATES AND TIMES ARE TENTITAVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
It will start off on January 11th in the Morning in LA and a Shelby Run to SAI. (9-4)
I do not have more details than this more tomorrow of exactly where the run will start. you will run your cars from LA to SAI, you must have a Car to participate in this part.
January 11th (5pm-8pm)Then there will be the launch party of New 2008 GT500KR, you will be able to see the first one roll off the line with Carroll Shelby there to receive this car. After the Launch Party there will be a Birthday Dinner at Shelby Auto's to Celebrate Carroll's 85 Birthday.
January 12th (9:00am to 5pm)All day event on Saturday at Shelby Autos, including track usage, facility tours, car show, & Carroll Shelby will be at some of these events.
January 12th Party on Saturday night at Casino (location & time TBD).
Gift bag with exclusive 85th commemorative merchandise
January 13th Breakfast at Shelby Autos on Sunday (8:00am to ?).TBD
Also included in this package is Two-night Hotel accommodations (Fri, Sat). Place TBD
These are some detail, Price and numbers should be announced tomorrow. These Tickets should go on Sale on Monday so please for those of you that are interested, you must be a Team Shelby Member, these will go fast and are first come first serve.
