How many 2007 Shelby GT's were produced?

Does anybody have a final number of the 07 Shelby GT's that were produced?
I know they started talking 6000 total then the number went to 4000, just wondering where it finished.
It would be nice to know how many Black/5 speeds, White/5 speeds and the same for the Automatics.

The word on the Shelby Autos forum is between 5600 and 5800. Next year's batch will be 300 grabber orange (all coupes) and 1800 blue / silver (mostly convertibles).

Not sure where production ended but my car was built in Flat Rock on 6-6-07 and is Shelby # 5636. That time of year had to be close to the end of production. I'd bet they stopped at 5,800.

I read that total production was to be limited to less than 10,000 cars. This was a driving force in my decision to buy. Then I read they were planning to build 10,000 per year. Anyone know the real story?

Original Ford and SAI statements last year I believe were 6000 Shelby GT of which an actual 5764 (including prototype) were produced. The GT500 was to be a run of 8000, then later ecpected to be 9,000 units in 2007 with final SVT production report of 8,150 coupes and 2,694 convertibles for a total of 10844 units.

Any idea where the numbers in 08 will stop? Also wondering if there is any news on a new body style for 09, and production numbers on SGT's & SVT's 08/09

I still have not seen any breakdown of the 2007 Shelby GT production. Are the stats available on how many White/5 speeds, Black/5 speeds, White/auto, Black/auto? I am also curious about how many were produced with the medium parchment interior. Why did Ford send Mustangs with tan interiors to have silver stripes installed?

Team Shelby should have more information, but I have yet to see a post of the production breakdown as to color, drivetrain, etc. Last report for this year was 2100 blue SGT and 300 California (grabber yellow) SGT. No breakdown of body style or drivetrain.

My white 5 speed is #47++-so they sure didn't stop at 4000!
