1967 GT350 w/ AM 8 Track Player

Does anyone know of a vendor that can repair an AM Radio/ 8 track player from a 67 GT350? The original owner told me it came from the factory with this option. Any ideas on how common or rare this may be? Thanks!!

You can find out for sure with a Marti report. As little as $17.00
go to www.Martiauto.com to see what else they offer.
You will need the full Shelby Vin, AND the full Ford vin or it's no-go with a Shelby. Also, email a heads up to the 67 Registrar that you a trying to get a Marti report as Marti will always confirm the Shelby vin to the Fomoco vin.
It is possible it will be a less that 1 0f 10

Hi folks! the best person to contact for repairs is a long time saac member, and also longtime hemmings advertiser, look up Bill Herndon..
you may learn quite a bit about your car from a marti report, but it will only compare it to mustang production..not shelby production..maybe he can if you ask for this specifically,in any case it is a nice option..and worth fixing.
Do you want us to look for some tapes??

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought all 67 Shelbys came with am radios and any upgrades were dealer installed....and the same as open rear ends, Locking diffs were dealer installed...

Hi folks! The comment by C J CAT is often heard, and as well as we know these cars,it seems we are always learning more stuff. For the longest time we thought that all cars had power steering...but there are exceptions.By 67 very few cars a stereo,at least from the factory...most of us were installing 4 track tape decks, with 6x9 speakers!! wow the memories..

Scott's Electronic Service,scottjoechey@aol.com.. out of South Carolina...restored mine last year, excellent work, looks and plays new.He does most of the dealer work on east coast...Stepenwolf (born to be wild)blasting thru the dash, while running thru the gears, brings it all back. But that holly feeding those solid lifters is the sweetest music there is...

This is exctly what happened with mine. It came with an AM radio and JD Ball Ford in Miami put in a 8track player for the new owner. I have the work order. It's still in the car and it plays Zeppelin just fine!!
