Original Supersnake Video

Charley,

I downloaded the video and posted it to a more reliable server so it is not intermittently up and down.

Couple things, they mention 650 hp in the video, have you ever dyno'd your car?? just courious.

Also they mentioned 142 mph, I have heard Shelby or the test driver went up to 170 mph. Any information on that???

Here is the video:

Re: Original Supersnake Video

No I have not had it on the dyno but I think it is just the 520 hp Lemans engine. I think the 650 hp statement was probably just hype. The 142 mph was the average speed for 500 miles. The top speed was reportedly 170.

to see Mustangs being resurrected into something so special, which would otherwise likely have been relegated to the crusher.
