'66 GT350H automatic transmission

How can the transmission be identified as original, or even original to the car?

Re: '66 GT350H automatic transmission

Mark,
I believe the transmission has C6DP 7A040A on it. Would this# help identify it as original or not?

Thanks.....

Do you still have an alum. tag on the servo cover?
Also which servo do you have, should be a large "C" on the right side, servo cover..
