gt350 side view help

hey gents and ladies, first, great board. i own a gt350 which I've had for a tad, and I'll get some photos up shortly. but i had a question i thought someone might be able to help with regarding the side view mirror.

first ,its a wonderfully restored black gt350 all stock except we used a 350 engine. that being said, i have a problem with the right side, side view mirror. the mirror on the inside, the actual 2x 2inch reflective piece is loose. should be snug so if you adjust it, it holds its position but it just flop down so lower edge of mirror is just off the casing.

i cant really see in there, not sure how that pops or comes out. any ideas or thoughts on what it could be? doesn't feel like it will pop out, but just not holding its position.

thx in advance.

-sg

Re: gt350 side view help

I don't have any idea how to fix your mirror issue but I am interested in your motor. Which type of 350 motor would that be?? IIRC the cleveland and the windsor are 351 (also the M) the FE motor is a 352.. Good luck with your problem... someone here is sure to know the answer.
